BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) — Baltimore City Council President Nick Mosby joins Farajii Muhammad to address the federal investigation into his family and the council’s ongoing efforts to battle COVID-19, including the passage of legislation to assist renters.
Baltimore City Council recently passed a bill that offers alternatives for renters struggling to pay security deposits.
The Council also voted to send @CCMiddleton6's legislation to @MayorBMScott’s desk to require landlords to accept alternatives to lump-sum security deposits. This bill requires landlords to offer and accept alternatives, which empowers renters to choose an option. pic.twitter.com/nVtfzZNrPn
