The Community Cares partner for April is The House of Nehemiah (THON), Baltimore’s premier Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment Program. THON lives by the creed “The Fight is Real.”
THON operates in the midst of a dangerous pandemic of addiction homelessness and crime. They are a strong network of counselors and healthcare professionals advocating for change and recovery. This residential program is unparalleled and offers a unique and holistic approach to combating substance abuse and mental illness with services that foster well being.
THON is holding the First Annual Jazz Bull and Shrimp Fundraiser on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 7 pm- midnight at the Tubula Rasa 1718 Belmont Ave. Suite B, Windsor Mill, MD. 2124. The event will feature the jazz stylings of saxophonist Isaac Parham.
