(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott is getting fired up ahead of the AFC Championship game between the Ravens and Chiefs at M&T Bank Stadium.
Wearing a Lamar Jackson jersey, Scott appeared at a City Hall news conference to declare this as "Purple January."
All year, the Ravens have been putting the whole city on their back, and we want the @Ravens to know the whole city has their back too. That's why I'm declaring this month PURPLE JANUARY.

The mayor says the game will be the largest one-day sporting event in Baltimore in his lifetime.
He also says the city is ready to handle the influx of visitors, including pop megastar Taylor Swift, who is dating Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and has been cheering him on at games this season.
