(Towson, MD) -- Baltimore County is receiving an additional $1.1 million in rental assistance funding.
County Executive Johnny Olszewski announced the funding from the U.S. Treasury Department will help nearly 100 families stay in their home.
Olszewski says the county has helped over 8,500 families avoid eviction since the start of the pandemic and has invested more than $116 million in rental assistance.
The county has also invested $1.5 million in free housing-related legal services for tenants.
