The program will use funding from the American Rescue Plan Act.
It will allow 25 graduates of Historically Black Colleges and Universities to work at government agencies this year.

The funding includes housing and transportation assistance.
Since the pandemic, Baltimore has struggled with staffing shortages which this program will address.
Mr. Mayor, we are honored to partner with you and the city of Baltimore. This is a wonderful opportunity for our students and a visionary approach to meeting the demands of our city agencies. Thank you! #AyeCoppin #ExperienceCoppinState and BEMORE! https://t.co/UHdJRAz8yU
