(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott's director of communications has stepped down.
Kamau Marshall says serving the city of Baltimore has been an extraordinary honor and he's deeply grateful for the opportunity to work with Mayor Scott and his dedicated leadership team during such a pivotal moment in the city's journey.
He says he wishes Mayor Scott, and his administration continued success. Mayor Scott says Kamau played a central role in strengthening and rebuilding the City's communications team and his contributions have left a lasting mark.
The mayor thanks him for his service and wishes him the best in his next chapter.
