The strong winds could lead to downed tree branches and power outages into Monday morning.

The Maryland State Highway Administration has been preparing for another round of wintry weather.

The snow is expected to begin Sunday afternoon followed by a wintry mix and high winds that could create hazardous driving conditions into Monday.

Highway crews have been applying anti-icing brine to the roads and preparing snow removal equipment.

Officials urge residents to stay home if they don't have to be on the roads.Baltimore City remains under a Code Blue Extreme Cold Alert until Sunday evening.

A Code Blue is issued when conditions are severe enough to pose a threat to the life or health of vulnerable populations. City Health Commissioner Dr. Letitia Dzirasa asks residents to check on neighbors who may be at risk to ensure that they have heat and power.
