BALTIMORE (AP) — Fire officials in Baltimore are announcing plans for a memorial next week for three firefighters who died after a vacant rowhome partially collapsed, trapping them inside.
The Baltimore City Fire Department announced Friday that a memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Baltimore Convention Center.

Fire officials say four firefighters were battling the blaze inside the rowhome early Monday when part of the three-story building collapsed.
One firefighter was immediately freed and taken to a hospital, but officials say the three others died.
The surviving firefighter was released from the hospital Thursday.
