(Baltimore, MD) —Are robots really taking over?
At Morgan State University, small ‘KiwiBots’ will soon begin delivering food to students on-campus.

Students will be able to use the app, ‘BiteU’, to access the digital delivery service (the U stands for University).
Depending on their meal plan(s), customers will have the option to link their student ID card to the app as payment. Debit and credit cards will be accepted as well.
The robots will drop off orders from Rawlings Cafe between 7am to 12am, or the Canteen in the Student Center between 11am to 8pm.
With each order, students can receive “Bites”, which are reward points that can accumulate towards future orders.
Recently, the kiwibots have been spotted around campus doing test deliveries. Some students have already nicknamed the mini robots, “Bearbots” because the school’s mascot is a bear.
Morgan State’s "Bearbots" are set to make their official debut next week.
