(Baltimore, MD) -- Governor Larry Hogan is declaring Friday, December 23rd a state holiday.
He says the day will be treated like any other state holiday.
That means all state government agencies and offices will be closed.
Hogan says it's "just another way to show our appreciation to our dedicated state workers."
I am declaring December 23 a state holiday so that our hard-working employees can spend more time enjoying the holidays with their loved ones and as another way we can show our appreciation to our dedicated state workers who have helped us change Maryland for the better.
