(Baltimore, MD) -- A couple is not likely to forget how they celebrated the start of 2023.
Police say the couple was kidnapped in the early morning hours on January 1st by a group of teenagers.
Officials say the incident occurred near the intersection of Riverside Avenue and East Cross Street.
That is where a group of young teenagers approached a 29-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man and forced them into a car.
Investigators say the kidnappers drove the couple to a number of ATMs to withdraw money.
Investigators say they were able to track the couple and their abductors through one of the couple's iPhones.
Police were able to round up the suspects with officials claiming the juveniles are believed to be part of a group that had been targeting victims over the weekend in south Baltimore.
