(Baltimore, MD) -- A study from a personal finance website concludes Baltimore may be one of the worst cities in the country to raise a family, while Columbia ranks amongst the best.
According to WalletHub, Baltimore ranks 175th among the 182 cities it studied.
Baltimore ranked highest in affordability at number 116 but lowest in socio-economics at number 176.
The website compared more than 180 cities based on nearly 50 key metrics, from median family salary to playgrounds per capita.
Fremont, California, was considered the best place to raise a family, followed by Overland Park, Kansas, and Irvine, California.
