(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott and Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski will kick-off the three-day Maryland Cycling Classic this afternoon.
There will be a number of interactive events leading up to race day including a Community Bike Jam at Patterson Park and the Bridges of Hope charity ride.

On Sunday more than 100 pro cyclists from 25 countries will begin the race in the Sparks area of Baltimore County and cover around 120 miles before finishing at Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
Scott and Olszewski will be joined by cyclists who will be participating in Sunday's racer, and representatives from the Maryland Sports Commission, Visit Baltimore and USA Cycling.
