(Baltimore, MD) -- Officials from the Biden administration joined Governor Wes Moore and other state and local leaders this morning at Baltimore's Carver Vocational-Technical High School to highlight the city's Workforce Hub.
Back in May, the White House named Baltimore as one of five workforce hubs aimed at boosting the skilled workforce.
The administration has announced nearly $10 billion in infrastructure projects for Maryland, including the replacement of the 150-year-old Baltimore and Potomac Tunnel.
U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was scheduled to make the trip to Baltimore today but canceled due to a positive COVID test.
