(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore is declaring the first Code Blue Extreme Cold Alert of the season.
The wind chill is expected to fall into the teens overnight tonight and the Code Blue will be in effect for Wednesday morning.

A Code Blue is issued when temperatures, including the wind chill, plummet to 13-degrees or lower, presenting a substantial threat to city residents.
There were 19 cold-related deaths in Baltimore City during the last winter season.
