(Baltimore, MD) -- Giant Food will be closing a Baltimore store on Edmonson Avenue next month and reopening its location on Wilkins Avenue.
In a statement, Giant President Ira Kress says the company believes the expansion and enhanced amenities at the newly remodeled Wilkens Avenue store offers a fantastic replacement for the Edmondson store.
The distance between the two locations is just over three-miles.
The Edmonson store will close on June 13 and the Wilkins location will open on June 7th.
