(Sterling, VA) -- Much of Maryland is bracing for more severe weather.
Forecasters say another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected today with locally heavy rain and damaging wind gusts possible.

The greatest threat for severe storms includes the Baltimore and DC metro areas, Southern Maryland and the Eastern Shore.
The Storm Prediction Center has the region under a Level 1, or marginal, risk for severe storms.
