(Baltimore, MD) -- The heat wave appears to be close to breaking in the Baltimore area.
A Heat Advisory is in effect from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 tonight.
It's another hot & humid day with temps in the mid to upper 90s east of the mtns. Some locations especially within the I-95 corridor may push 100. Heat indices will run between 102-107 deg. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon and evening before a cold front moves through the area.
Once the extreme heat moves out highs are expected to be in the upper 80's on Thursday and Friday with lower humidity.
