Dr. William Moss, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health joins Dr. Kaye for the conversation.

(Baltimore, MD) -- A case of measles has been confirmed in a Howard County resident who recently traveled internationally.

The Maryland Department of Health says the case is not associated with the measles outbreaks in Texas and New Mexico.

Out of an abundance of caution, health officials are trying to identify people who might have been exposed to the virus.

Anyone who visited Dulles International Airport's Terminal A on transportation to the main terminal and in the baggage claim area on March 5th between 4 and 9 p.m. may have been exposed.

In addition, those who visited the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Department on March 7th between 3:30 and 7:30 p.m., may have been exposed.
