Morgan State University Food Resource Center seeks volunteers and sponsors for upcoming community events

BALTIMORE — The Morgan State University Food Resource Center is once again giving back to the community and is calling on volunteers, donors, and sponsors to help make the event a success.

The 5th Annual Trunk or Treat will take place on Sunday, October 26 at 2201 Argonne Drive, providing a safe and fun environment for children and families to enjoy Halloween festivities. The Food Resource Center is seeking candy donations from community members and local organizations. Donations can be coordinated by emailing foodresourcecenter@morgan.edu.

The center recently cancelled its Thanksgiving Block Party that was scheduled for November 21, due to ongoing campus construction that has significantly impacted their space. FRC says it will continue to provide regular services and will compile a list of alternative Thanksgiving and holiday resources for the community.

If you or someone you know is interested in assisting the resource center with donations email foodresourcecenter@morgan.edu.
