BALTIMORE — The Morgan State University Food Resource Center is once again giving back to the community with two major fall events and is calling on volunteers, donors, and sponsors to help make both events a success.
The 5th Annual Trunk or Treat will take place on Sunday, October 26 at 2201 Argonne Drive, providing a safe and fun environment for children and families to enjoy Halloween festivities. The Food Resource Center is seeking candy donations from community members and local organizations. Donations can be coordinated by emailing foodresourcecenter@morgan.edu.
Next month, the center will host its Thanksgiving Block Party on Thursday, November 21, celebrating gratitude and community by providing nourishing meals to families in need. To make this event possible, the Food Resource Center is inviting organizations and individuals to become sponsors.
Sponsorship levels include:
- Harvest Sponsor ($3,500): Includes a reserved table at the event, premier logo placement on signage, flyers, and the website, and recognition in press releases and media outreach.
- Table Sponsor ($1,500): Includes logo placement on select event signage and banners, social media recognition, and a mention during the event’s closing remarks.
- Community Friend ($500): Includes a name listing on the event program and signage, along with recognition on Food Resource Center social media as a valued supporter.
Both events aim to bring the Morgan community and local residents together in celebration, service, and support.
