Baltimore Police warn of North Face jacket robbery trend

(Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore Police have issued a robbery trend alert after several victims have been robbed of their jackets.

Police say the suspects are targeting people wearing North Face and other high-end coats and jackets.

Police say these kinds of incidents usually happen in the early morning or late evening when people are distracted or walking alone near bus stops, parking lots and transit areas.

Police say to stay alert and be extra aware when it's cold, dark and you are traveling alone.

In addition, police say to talk with teens and young adults who commonly wear North Face jackets and alert them to the possible danger.
