Baltimore's Black History Month Parade To Take Place Today

Baltimore, MD) -- Baltimore City's second annual Black History Month Parade takes place today.

Mayor Brandon Scott will be joining city officials, residents, and cultural leaders to honor Baltimore's heritage and history.

The city is encouraging participants and parade viewers to wear clothing that pays tribute to iconic figures who have shaped the nation.

The parade steps-off at Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Eutaw Street at noon. The parade will travel south along MLK Jr. Boulevard and west on Baltimore Street before disbanding between Fremont Avenue and Poppleton Street.
