WEAA — Hundreds are expected to gather in Annapolis this Saturday for a march and rally organized by the Caucus of African American Leaders.

The "Good Trouble March" is scheduled for Saturday, March 7th, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Lawyers Mall in Annapolis. Participants will gather at Calvary United Methodist Church at 301 Rowe Boulevard before marching to the Governor's Mansion and Lawyers Mall for a community rally.

According to convener Carl Snowden, the march will serve two purposes — to denounce hatred and to honor the memory of the Reverend Jesse Jackson Sr., Congressman John Lewis, Dee Goodwyn, Claudia DeGrate, and Christine Davenport.

The event is expected to draw clergy, civil rights leaders, community activists, elected officials, and residents from across the state. Organizers say it comes at a time of national division and uncertainty, and is intended to demonstrate collective strength in support of progress and justice in Maryland, including support for Governor Wes Moore.
