Friday, Jan. 24 – March 14 JELMA of Morgan State University presents Getting to Grown: A Diaspora Journey, featuring artists Angela Franklin and Chevelle Moore Jones. Curated by Dr. Schroeder Cherry, Getting to Grown features mixed media textiles and collaged images depicting the ways one might navigate life to become “grown.”

- Saturday, Feb. 22d at 1pm Spend the afternoon with HBCU TITANS of Education, Dr. William Harvey (retired President of Hampton University) and Dr. David Kwabena Wilson (current President of Morgan State University). A special screening and discussion with Emmy award winning Maryland filmmaker, Phil Branch, on his film, Hampton University: One of the Wonders of the World. Moderated by Dr. Edwin T. Johnson, this conversation will explore leadership, legacy, and the transformative impact of historically Black colleges and universities.

Join family, friends, collectors, and Blackives, LLC in celebrating the life and legacy of Tom Miller (1945-2000). Miller's book, which he co-authored with the late Cammay Calloway, Can A Coal Scuttle Fly, will be read by former Mayor Kurt Schmoke or Keith Snipes.
