Mark Waldrum

Mark Waldrum is on a mission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through various music genres and instruments. The North Carolina born music lover holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland College Park, and was welcomed into the Gospel Grace family by Pastor Duane Johnson in 2007.  Bro. Mark always wanted to be a DJ since the age of 5, and the self proclaimed "B" side record freak has always strive for the thrill of turning listeners on to new music that they have never heard before and will immediately like. 

"During my teenage years I liked gospel music, but I loved funk and jazz," says Mark.  "Cameo, Earth Wind & Fire, Stanley Clarke, P-Funk....lots of horns, funky, thumb-slappin' bass and drums, strings, piano, synths and definitely some rock guitar.....basically true fusion.  So, when God led me to become a gospel DJ I just started finding music that merged all those different elements of music together."

Bro. Mark enjoys spending time with his wife Faith, two children, family and friends along with another passion.....playing and watching basketball.
