For The Culture With Farajii: Medical experts address COVID-19 vaccination concerns

BALTIMORE, MD (WEAA) — Dr. Kathleen Page, an infectious disease specialist with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Dr. Clifford Mitchell, Director of the Environmental Health Bureau with the Maryland Department of Health join Farajii Muhammad to address COVID-19 vaccine concerns, effectiveness and herd immunity.

Dr. Mitchell says, “At this point, protection against COVID, really means a vaccine. And whether its the Johnson and Johnson single shot or the Moderna and the Pfizer two shots, each one of them is better than not being vaccinated at this point and reduces your risk of being hospitalized, reduces your risk of death and protects people you love and people in your community as well".
