Deion Sanders is taking over as head coach at Colorado after his successful stint at Jackson State, historically Black college.

According to Essence.com, The Athletic named Deion Sanders Sportsperson of the Year just last week, noting that Sanders elevated “the visibility of the football played at Historically Black Colleges and Universities, some that are in dire need of support.”

Did Deion Sanders do enough for historically Black college and universities? How much is enough?
