(WEAA)— The Wilkens Police and Community Relations Organization is hosting Community Day at Lansdowne High School’s athletics field.
The family event will take place on Saturday, March 26 from 9am-12pm.
Attendees can expect a host of activities including football and soccer drills, an obstacle course for bikers, a mobile library, vendors and more.
Otis Collins, president of the Wilkens Police and Community Relations Organization explains why improving neighborhood relations with law enforcement is necessary in order to have a "vibrant, functioning" community.
