Gregory Robertson is a Prince George's County native and strategic communications major at Morgan State University.
In high school he was unsure of which career path would suit him best. During that time, he considered becoming a music major but after deep thought and words of encouragement from friends and family, he decided to follow his passion in the field of communication.
"My interest in communication started at an early age, when I would listen to radio hosts in Washington D.C. I remember listening to personalities like Steve Harvey, Tom Joyner, and Rickey Smiley. I studied their background and how I could be just like them. Over the years, radio has changed drastically. At one point in time, radio was the only way people could express thoughts and share information. Radio was one of the driving forces pushing to end segregation through the power of music."
All of these factors inspired Gregory to combine his love for music and his passion for communication.
Currently, he works as a club DJ in the DMV.
