Reporting and commentating for our coverage of these events are: Charles Robinson, Political and Business Correspondent for Maryland Public Television; Charles Ellison, national correspondent and Host of The Ellison Report for WEAA; Julius White, News Director for WEAA; and ER Shipp, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and Journalist-in-Residence and Associate Professor of Journalism at Morgan State University.

WEAA Celebrates James "Big Jim" Staton

On Sunday at the Eubie Blake Cultural center, WEAA celebrated Big Jim, who turned 81 this year and has done more than 25 years of service for the WEAA community. Check out the photos and video from the ultimate old school party!

Gospel Grace's Ernestine Jones and Kelle' Avent represented well at the Festival of Praise Tour 2016, starring Fred Hammond, Hezekiah Walker, Karen Clark Sheard, Regina Belle, Casey J, Israel Houghton and comedian Earthquake. The pair greeted listeners during intermission and were welcomed with great enthusiasm!
