(WEAA)– Students are invited to Pimlico Race Course for a day of live racing, music, food, and a chance to win $10,000 in scholarship money.
The Maryland Jockey Club is hosting College Day at the Races on Sunday, September 18 from noon-6pm.
A total of 10 prizes will be awarded of $1,000 each throughout the day.
Officials say, students must pre-register by showing valid college ID and photo ID.
If a student has not yet received a school ID, proof of admission will be accepted.
Students are encouraged to check in on-site between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m., once completed, they will receive a betting voucher.
