On Friday Nov. 11 – SGJC's Center for the Study of Race & Culture in Sports is hosting a symposium in the university's Student Center theater, Soccer In America: Voices From the African American Community.
Panelists from Maryland and around the country will discuss issues relating to soccer with the backdrop of the men's FIFA World Cup 2022 starting in November from Qatar.
The event runs from 10 a.m - 3 p.m.
There will also be a raffle to win movie tickets to Wakanda Forever.
Students must attend symposium to qualify for raffle.
