(Baltimore County, MD) -- Baltimore County Police say more than 5,300 vehicles have received warnings for illegally passing school buses since the start of the academic year.
Most school buses have cameras on their stop-arms and now that 80-percent of the fleet is equipped with them - drivers will start receiving citations carrying a $250 fine on November 4.
Police say if an officer catches a driver illegally passing a school bus, the fine increases to $570.
