(Sterling, VA) -- Some of the coldest air of the season will be settling in across parts of Maryland over the next couple of days.
Areas of frost are possible outside of the major cities early Thursday morning, and again on Thursday night into Friday morning.
Some of the northern and western suburbs could see sub-freezing temperatures.
High temps in the 60s and 70s are expected to return in time for the weekend.
