(Annapolis, MD) -- Early voting numbers continue to rise in Maryland.
State Elections Administrator Jared DeMarinis says the second day is going strong, with nearly 25,000 people voting as of 10 a.m.
Over 154,000 voters cast ballots on the first day of early voting on Thursday, and more than 1,800 people registered to vote at the same time.
DeMarinis says those numbers surpass the entire early voting period for the primary election back in May.
