(Baltimore, MD) -- Legendary singer and musician Stevie Wonder and groundbreaking ballerina Misty Copeland will speak at the Peabody Conservatory's graduation ceremonies on May 22nd.
Copeland is the first African American woman to become a principal dancer in the American Ballet Theatre and will address undergraduates at the morning ceremony.
Best-selling recording artist and multiple Grammy winner Stevie Wonder will speak at the afternoon ceremony.
Both artists will receive the George Peabody Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Music and Dance in America.
Wonder will also receive an honorary doctorate from Johns Hopkins University at its May 23rd commencement ceremony.
