The Winter version of Baltimore County Restaurant Week is underway. Some 50 restaurants are offering brunch, lunch, and dinner menus at fixed prices, through January 24.
Girl Scouts Go Gluten-Free
The Girl Scouts are cashing in the gluten-free trend with two of its three new cookie flavors for 2015. Toffee-tastics are gluten-free butter cookies that come filled with pieces of toffee. Trios are gluten-free butter cookies filled with peanut butter, oats, and chocolate chips. The third cookie is an oatmeal raisin cookie called Rah-Rah Raisins, which contains Greek-yogurt flavored chunks, raisins and whole grain oats. The Girl Scout cookie drive generates about $800 million in sales each year.
