Most school districts, including Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Carroll County, dismissed school early due to the inclement weather.

In a statement yesterday, President Obama said Mikulski’s leadership serves as an inspiration to millions of women and girls across the globe to stand up and lead. The 78-year-old Mikulski is the longest-serving woman in Congress.
