Julius White has the local news: Sheila Dixon says she’s disappointed by a federal judge’s dismissal of a lawsuit calling for a primary election do-over in Baltimore. The judge said VOICE, Voters Organize for the Integrity of City Elections, waited too long to file the suit. The ACLU is calling on the Justice Department to investigate the use of facial recognition technology, saying it violates the rights of millions of Americans and has a disproportionate effect on minorities. Police in Maryland have access to drivers license photos, mug shots, and images in the FBI’s database.
