It's official. Daryl DeSousa was formally sworn in Wednesday during a ceremony hosted by Mayor Catherine Pugh. DeSousa was appointed to the position in January after Mayor Pugh fired former Commissioner Kevin Davis.
DeSousa will make $210,000 a year under a 4 year contract. Mayor Pugh administered the oath office after opening ceremony remarks from City Council President Bernard 'Jack' Young and City Comptroller Joan Pratt.
