Morgan State University Welcomes Rev. Al Sharpton to Presidential Distinguished Speaker Series

Join the Morgan community in welcoming Reverend Al Sharpton for The Presidential Distinguished Speaker Series. Developed to bring national thought leaders from various professional fields of study and acumen to Morgan, the Series presents a thoughtful and provocative platform for meaningful conversations and exchange on issues that are pertinent to you – Morgan students and our campus community.

We are pleased to have celebrated civil rights icon, acclaimed political analyst, host of MSNBC’s “PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton,” and President of the National Action Network (NAN) visit our campus for a special engagement.

Be sure to attend and hear firsthand Reverend Al Sharpton lead an insightful conversation about “Civil Rights in the Age of Trump.” From healthcare and immigration to criminal justice reform and protecting freedom of speech and the media, Reverend Al Sharpton will offer a candid discourse on these topics and more. The lecture will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. at the Martin D. Jenkins Hall Auditorium. Audience participation is not only welcomed, it is encouraged. A formal Q&A session with our invited guest will follow the lecture.
