An aggressive attack to was made to extinguish the blaze and search for possible victims. "Once fire fighters conducted their primary search, they located a body of person on the first floor of the home," said Skinner. "Unfortunately, at this time we do not know the gender or identity of the person, but the state medical examiner's office will determine the cause of death."

Skinner said the fire did not reach a multiple alarm status and fortunately it did not spread to any adjacent dwellings. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
