Lawsuit filed against restaurant for discrimination

The Atlas Restaurant Group is facing a discrimination lawsuit after denying entrance to a Black mother and son from their restaurant Ouzo Bay.  The suit filed by Marcia Grant Monday in Baltimore City Court seeks 75-thousand-dollars in restitution for causing emotional harm and violating their rights.  On June 21st, Grant and her nine-year-old son were asked to leave Ouzo Bay because her son's shorts violated the restaurant's dress code, even though other diners were similarly dressed.  Atlas has since fired the two managers responsible and eliminated the dress code for children.
