Today with Dr. Kaye: Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott talks police reform

(BALTIMORE, MD) The country is once again focused on what happens when an unarmed Black person is killed by police. 
 
Daunte Wright,a 20-year-old Black man was killed Sunday by police following a traffic stop in Minnesota. Dereck Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer is currently on trial for the murder of George Floyd. 

 

 “The most important thing Dr. Kaye, is that when we see what is happening, not just with the trial but with this murder, you again see how exhausting it is to be Black and living in this country…” - Mayor Brandon Scott.

 

Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott joins Dr. Kaye to discuss police reform, accountability and how he plans to rebuild Baltimore City.
