(WEAA) — Maryland’s eviction moratorium expired on August 15 causing a frustration and panic amongst struggling residents.
On Monday, Baltimore City Council members passed a resolution calling on Governor Hogan to reinstate the order.
“The City Council is unanimous in requesting Gov. Hogan toextend the eviction moratorium and work with courts. We have millions coming to help renters & landlords. We need more time. The Council has done a lot of work to protect renters. It is your turn now. Thanks colleagues!” - Councilwoman Odette Ramos
