(WEAA)— The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) along with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have announced approvals of third booster shots of the Pfizer/BioNTech or Moderna COVID vaccines for people with weakened immune systems.
As of this week, vaccine providers in Howard County have started offering the third dose to immunocompromised residents.
