Two Way Talk: Religious exemptions pose new challenges to vaccine mandates


As more COVID-19 vaccine mandates go into effect around the country, many individuals are pushing back and claiming religious exemption. 


The right to request such exemption stems from Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which which prohibits employment discrimination based on religious beliefs, among other things.
