(WEAA) —With coronavirus cases rising around the state it was only a matter of time before the Morgan State campus would become a hotspot.
According to the university's COVID-19 dashboard the school is reporting 53 cases on campus between students and staff as of December 18th.
The cases come from a round of testing that included 625 students and staff.
The number of cases increased from three at the first part of December to seventeen last week to 53 current cases.
Morgan State is now mostly clear of students who are on holiday break. Fall graduation was last Friday.
