(WEAA)— Baltimore Ravens linebacker Jaylon Ferguson has died, the team announced Wednesday. He was 26.

The Ravens did not release the cause of death.
Ferguson's agent, Safarrah Lawson, also released a statement that was posted to social media by NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

“It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of Baltimore Ravens LB Jaylon Ferguson. The family asks for your prayers and privacy during this trying time.”
According to the National Football League, Ferguson was a third-round pick out of Louisiana Tech in 2019, and played 38 games with the Ravens, including 10 starts, and recorded 67 tackles and 4.5 sacks over three seasons.
Teammates and friends posted tributes to Ferguson on social media.
