Weekend Violence Claims Three, Wounds Seven

(Baltimore, MD) -- It was another violent weekend in Baltimore as police responded to shootings that left at least three people dead and seven others injured.

Police say the violence started Saturday night when a man was shot and killed at Register Lane and Normal Avenue.

That shooting was followed by another incident on Olmstead Street and Grace Court. A woman was shot Sunday in the 100 block of South Charles Street in Federal Hill.

Officials say Baltimore is outpacing shooting deaths compared to the same period last year.

So far in October, there have been 23 shooting deaths in the last 23 days.

Police say they have no suspects in connection with any of the weekend shootings as well as no motives in any of the cases.
